could you say it takes two to tango when your about to dance to salsa music? can you do the tengo while listening to salsa music? im confused like really bad!! lmao
IMHO, I went to Salsa night, with live band, while there i wanted to show someone some Tango, couldn’t do it to any of the music that very good band was putting down. I have danced tango to serval types of non-traditional musics before. I just could not get there with salsa. If both partners were good in both dances, you could squeeze in a few tango elements mixed in with salsa, but I doubt pure tango movement would work.
So I think not. It would be ugly at best, very forced I expect.
Their spirits are so different, I would not even try it.

i have no idea. i can’t dance at all. lol i love watching both dances, though. but they are different, i don’t think you can tango to salsa music or do the salsa to tango music. the beat of the music and the steps are different from each other.

I agree, while I have danced ATango to many untraditional pieces of music, I never do it to salsa. Salsa is salsa, and no matter how you dance that tango, people are still going to think salsa so why bother?

No, the "beats" is different. The beat of the music and the beat of the dancing or steps.
